WE DID IT!
Us two mad mares did it! We set out to do the 6 mile course over the Malvern Hills with a view to making it the full 10 miles and in the end we completed what turned out to be 13 miles!
We are exhausted and are both suffering with our feet and calves (amongst all the other aches and pains) but complete it we did and in the course of that I earned my Diamond Duke of Edinburgh Award and we raised £376 for two very deserving causes and the beauty of it is that with Just Giving, we can continue to add to that total.

Keri's Rainbow
Merry Meet!
Much has happened since I last posted a proper blog entry here and I know I have been absent for a long time (my last proper entry was in 2012) but life took over, then I lost my login information etc. Anyway, suffice to say, much has changed not least of which is that we have re-patriated and are now back in blighty and living in Sheffield.
As a result of the most major of those changes, myself and the indomitable Katy (my partner in all crimes past, presant and future) are undertaking the 18th anniversary 6-10 mile walk over the Malvern Hills in order to raise funds for the joint causes of Cancer Research and The Diamond Duke of Edinburgh Award in memory of my beautiful daughter-in-law Keri Jones (Nee Cunningham).

Hi hunny I'm home!
Well, I have been gone for a long time due to loosing the connection to this blog when my website went down bit, having been locked out of my Twitter account and trying to remember passwords I stumbled upon an old link to here......so I'm back and shall update as often as possible.
